It seems I am not the only person who also interpreted the license agreement this way. I has assumed my V1 purchase of Affinity Photo was a universal license including all future versions. So if you are "in", as you mention, for "fun", with the possibility for advanced photo editing as well and a tight integration with Apple Photo's PP would be my first choice.Since its inception, Affinity has gained the trust of professionals across the globe and picked up some of the industry’s most prestigious awards. Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.6.8 Affinity Designer 2.1.1 Affinity Photo 2.1.1 Affinity Publisher 2.1.1 Beta versions as they appear. However much easier than Affinity in my opinion. However it has a steep learning curve for "none Photo-shopper's" like me. So, Affinity has lots of high quality professional capabilities. Have been using Aperture in the past until it "stopped" For more than a decade I am not a user of Photoshop (to complicated to my "logic"). Have been using them both mainly for editing photo's.
